Comtec provides smart home technologies for developments such as Reynolds Mountain, Mountain Air and The Cliffs Communities plus projects like the Biltmore Estate and the 2006 HGTV Dream Home in Lake Lure. Our goal is to act as your technology manager.
Comtec is partnered with two companies, Hotwire, a fiber-optics and utility company, and Unified Technology Group, an amenities management software provider. By combining these company’s technologies with Comtec’s audio/video and home automation systems, we can manage all your development’s technology needs from the ground up.

Fiber Optic Infrastructure
First, Hotwire provides a fiber optic infrastructure at low or no cost to the developer. Once the fiber is in place, telephone, digital cable and high-speed internet is offered to the developer at up to 40% less cost than standard utility providers. Not only are costs lower, but working with a sole provider eliminates the hassle of negotiating with various utility companies.
Once the fiber infrastructure is in place, Comtec provides smart wiring and equipment packages in custom homes and townhouse/condo projects. This gives your homeowner cable TV, phone, computer networking, audio/video distribution, music systems, home theater and home automation.

Plus, we offer an amenities management system custom designed by Unified Technology Group. This one-touch solution lets your homewoners book tee times, spa appointments, restaurant reservations and any other amenity that you might offer.
This electronic concierge can be controlled by a Crestron touchpanel or via the Internet- anytime, anywhere. It can even bo controlled with a Blackberry or iPhone.
